A Silly Rabbit
Little Steve has a pet rabbit，Bunny. He plays with it every day after school. One day his mother sees that her little boy is holding Bunny by the ears. From time to time he gives the poor rabbit an angry shake and says:“how much is two plus two?”
"Steve，”says his mother，"Why do you treat your poor little Bunny that ways”
"Well，"explains Steve angrily，"Our teacher says that rabbits multiply very quickly，but this dummy can't even add.”

小史蒂夫有一只寵物兔子，名叫本尼。他每天放學后都跟兔子玩。一天，他媽媽看見他抓著兔子的'耳朵，不時地搖著那只可憐的兔子憤怒地說:“二加二等于幾?”
“史蒂夫，”他媽媽說，“你為什么那樣對待可憐的小本尼?”
“哼，”史蒂夫氣憤地解釋道:“我們老師說兔子算乘法很快，但這個笨蛋連加法都不會。”
【注】multiply可表示“乘法”，也可表示“繁殖”。史蒂夫的老師的意思是后者。
The Sun And The Moon
Tom and his classmate，Jerry，are talking about the sun and the moon. Jerry asks，"Which of them is more useful?”
Tom replied，"Of course，the moon is. The moon is in the sky when it is dark，but the sun is in the sky in the daytime when nobody needs it.”
太陽與月亮
湯姆和他的同學杰瑞正在討論太陽和月亮的話題。杰瑞問:“它們中哪一個更有用?”

Only With A Different Head
After the first day of the school, a first-grade student was asked by his father，"What does your new teacher look like”
"Just like my kindergarten teacher,”the child answered，"Only with a different head.”
只是頭不一樣
有一個一年級的學生一天放學回家，爸爸問他:“你的新老師長的什么樣?”
“跟我的幼兒園老師一樣，”孩子回答:“只是頭不一樣。”
